30th Anniversary

Our 30th Anniversary celebrations included a visit to Lord and Lady Dunleath’s estate at Ballywalter Park on 17th September 2004.

We also celebrated our 30th Anniversary with a dinner in the Great Hall at Galgorm Manor Hotel on 20th April 2005. An account of this occasion was recorded as follows:-

FLORAL ART GROUP CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY: 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Ballymena Floral Art Group celebrated 30 years with a dinner held in the Great Hall at Galgorm Manor Hotel.

Mrs Muriel Harkness, Chairperson, welcomed the large crowd of members and visitors and called upon Mrs Doreen Adams to propose the toast to the Ballymena club.

Mrs Sandra Carson, President, replied and gave a short history of the club and reminisced about how much they had achieved down the years, saying that she was honoured to having been the founder of the club.

At this point an excellent meal was served and enjoyed by all, followed by a demonstration for the evening.

Mrs Carol Bone from County Wicklow, delighted everyone with the beautiful arrangements under the theme ‘Flowers For A Pearl Anniversary’.
